Kolab reach the Top 100 digital agencies in the UK in the The Drum's Digital Census

We have never really shouted too loudly about our successes or creativity, but this year we thought, why not? 2014 has already been an award-winning year for Kolab and the news of reaching the The Drum’s Digital Census was the icing on the cake.

Why we value the Census, and what it's all about
Measuring the growth of a fast-paced digital agency was once a tricky thing. Then, recently, The Drum came up with an inspiring and innovative concept...

Instead of matching everyone against everyone, they defined a new way of thinking by simply grouping agencies in terms of staff - small, medium or large. By enabling a fairer comparison of similarly sized firms, and using a series of in-depth financial, peer and client polls, the conclusion is a fairly-arrived-at ranking. Significantly, this method of evaluation really focuses on what's important for an agency, leaving image firmly at the door. By doing this, we think it's fair to say that The Drum have compiled a report that everyone in the digital landscape is excited about, for good reason!

The scores on the doors
So how did we do? We learned that we'd ranked joint 12 in the financial table, as well as 55 in the client table and there was more good news to come, too. Kolab achieved a rank of 23 in the peer table, which really meant a lot to us, having like minded creatives within the industry notice our output is one of the best feelings ever. This, backed up with happy clients and strong financials has given the team a really positive outlook for the next 12 months.
